Groundhog Day

Here’s an oldie but goodie Groundhog Day, February 2nd is the day that giant rodent pops his head out of the ground and tells us if we are going to have a longer winter or not. Imagine if you will, Punxsutawney Phil that most famous of meteorologists peeking his cute little head out. His nose wiggles and he either stays out and has a flower or two or he darts back into his hole and goes back to bed. He works once a year and he gets all the nuts he can eat, man what a job. *chuckles*

Such is the popularity of the day that a movie and musical were made after the day. So, how will you celebrate the day? Will you hop out of bed and make the most of your day? Will you look about before pulling your covers back over your head and sleeping a little longer?
